Mystic Healing and Psychology with Jacqueline Woods

Hello! My name is Jacqueline (Jacqui) Woods.

I have been practicing Holistic Healing for 35 years and

Clinical Psychology, with a specialty in PTSD and trauma, for 25 years.

From a young age, I experienced what I call Active Remembrance: An awareness of my expanded self, multidimensional reality, and a lifelong connection with guidance and The Divine. These grace-filled experiences shaped my own healing journey and continue to inform the way I support others. They have been the foundation of my development as a healer and the integrative approach I offer clients today.

I earned my BA in Clinical Psychology from UCLA in 1991, but instead of immediately pursuing graduate school, I felt called to explore holistic healing. I was deeply drawn to the Body–Mind–Spirit connection and wanted to understand how life’s challenges affect us on every level — physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. I also sought to understand what made deep healing and transformation possible, sensing that Clinical Psychology addressed only part of the picture.

Over the next decade, I established a private practice in holistic bodywork and became certified in several alternative healing modalities, including Deep Tissue Massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Somato-Emotional Release Therapy, and Pranic Healing. I also trained as a pre- and post-partum Doula and immersed myself in the Intuitive Healing Arts, yoga, advanced meditation, energy healing, and consciousness-expanding practices. These studies helped me understand how healing unfolds when we open the aperture of awareness and reconnect with our innate wholeness.

I returned to graduate school and received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in 2000. My 25 years of work as a therapist and trauma specialist have continued to deepen and refine my understanding of healing, resilience, and the human spirit.

Today, I am the owner of two healing practices:

Mystic Healing and Psychology (North Carolina):

As a Reverend and Healing Coach, I guide clients through in-depth holistic healing journeys that integrate Holistic Healing practices, the Mystic Sciences, Psychology, and neuroscience-informed techniques. My work supports individuals in transforming symptoms, dissolving blocks, and reconnecting with their authentic self.

I am also the owner of Pacific Trauma Treatment Center in Los Angeles, CA where I am a trauma therapist and provide holistic and integrative therapeutic services to a private clientele.

a multi-layered approach: Sessions that transform

Did You Know?

The majority of information we take in

Is initially stored in the visual cortex as pictures

if we are sighted?

Once a picture is taken,

the brain connects those pictures

to other places in the brain &

to places in the body.

When something hurts us

or frightens us our brain connects

those specific pictures

to a part of our brain called The Limbic System

Our limbic system is Our Great Protector,

but it is also the source of emotional triggers.

It's job is to Protect us from things that have

hurt us so we don't get hurt again.

However, until we fully heal, the limbic system will hold on to those pictures and can keep protecting us

for many years after something has happened...

Still our ever vigilant guardian.

To heal something that hurt us

and truly transform,

we have to do a few things at once!

Unplug the painful pictures from our Limbic System

*Neuro-Science!

*Desensitizing triggers

*Release stored physical pain

*Infuse Images of Health & Vitality

Fully Digest the experience

*Emotional Healing

*Mental Understanding

Extract the wisdom and understanding from it.

*Spiritual Healing

*Remembering Truth

*Cultivating Compassion
